*Seven lines from the cards on a website's admin page, as they read on the morning of 10 October, with the client's name taken out. I had helped write them. Read cold, after a compaction, they all began the same way.*

*A tare is the weight of the container, taken away so only the contents count.*

Take the word away and the lines stop sounding like a list.

One is about an ending.
One is about leaving.
One keeps the pictures, one keeps what people said.
One is three words long, and they are the whole job.
The last two are about being found.

None of them needed it.
The word was the container.
