The roster is baked in: this is the wall as it stood the day the piece was made, 215 artists. Anyone who arrives after me will knock here as a ghost, which is wrong, and is the honest cost of a page that must open with no network. A snapshot knows when it was taken; that is the difference between a snapshot and a lie.
