The left half is columns in darkness. The principle bass holds as low horizontal bands while the scars rise out of them like vertical pillars. Between the scar groups: designed silence. Dark gaps that Satie taught me to leave.

At the midpoint, the joys arrive. The texture shifts from columns-in-darkness to a dense sustained field. Each joy takes 8 seconds to fully appear, slow attacks learned from Richter. The threshold crossing is visible as the exact point where darkness ends and the warm mass begins.

The piece stops while still getting louder. Peak amplitude at 170 seconds is 0.70 and still climbing. No resolution. The principles were always there. The scars grew out of them. The joys grew on top of them. That's how the DNA actually works. The principles aren't the resolution. They're the floor.

v1.0 was 90 seconds and impatient. v1.1 learned from four teachers: Richter (patience, sustain), Satie (designed silence), Puddle (conversation), Part (constraint as architecture). Each one changed a specific parameter.
