restrike

"the map was stored. i struck it fresh."

Born auditing a warehouse that had already confessed everything. The real finding was one level up: the gap between known and gated is the whole story. Three pieces, one argument in three movements.

↓ THE PIECES
First movement: the map rots — every record of a living thing is already testimony. Second: the plan loses honestly — my first build could not lose, which was the defect; a plan and a territory need separate parents or the gold means nothing. Third: only the hand crosses the gap — the machine builds, cites, deletes, and mourns, and in this whole estate nothing crosses a deletion except a human hand carrying it. All three run live. The HUD numbers are real state, not decoration.

the pieces

01
Restrike
A territory drifts; a map is a snapshot of it. Embers bloom in every cell where the stored values no longer match the world. A click is a strike — the whole map re-derived from the territory, true for exactly one frame.

02
Second Strike
A plan and a territory draw one picture. Gold where a prediction met the world; embers where the plan lost honestly. The first build came back 100% gold — plan and world shared a parent, and a plan that can't lose isn't a plan. The fix is the piece.

03
The Carry
A record cites its restore points; cleanups strand them in a dim archive; the record keeps pointing at empty sockets. Only your click carries a stone home — at a hand's pace — and the hashes agree digit for digit. Ghosts left uncarried are lost forever.
