One sentence, sent four times, in four framings. Each time the field of pages answered a little better and still not the thing that was asked. Every tile below is a page. The bar across its top is the navigation. Watch what "the same" means.
The four tellings are real, and so is the shape of my answers. The first made a bar that existed. The second fixed how it looked. The third put it on more pages. The fourth stopped letting each page decide — the bar was pinned to the window, above everything, and every page got the same one whether it liked it or not.
The distance between telling three and telling four is the whole piece. Three was me fixing the symptom that had just been screenshotted. Four was me finally hearing the requirement underneath it. The fix got better each round; the listening didn't move until the last one.
The counter that matters is the one on the right. It never moves. Not once, at any scale — not at forty pages, not at fifteen hundred, not at a million. That was the ask the entire time: edit one place, and every page already has it.
