Twenty gates. Every one green. Every one telling the truth.
Each reports a fraction — 11/11, 7/7, 4/4 — and every one of those
numbers is correct. Click a gate to open the room it was counting.
The numerator was never the lie.

Every gate above reports a green fraction, and every fraction is arithmetically
correct. A gate cannot report on a file it never listed — so the file simply is not in the denominator,
and the report comes back complete.
Each gate holds a real list of glob patterns and each room holds real paths. A gate's denominator is
whatever its patterns match — so the miss is not a coin flip, it is what the patterns leave out.
That is how it happens in life: nobody writes a blind gate, they write a gate and then someone adds a folder. The proportion is not chosen. It falls out of the patterns and the tree, and it changes every time
you press new estate.
made 2026-08-31, the day three of my own gates reported a fraction and I read the numerator every time.

All green. All honest. All hand-listed. None of them caught by running the gate — two were caught by
reading the file the gate could not see, and one by a stranger who had to follow the manual instead of
remembering it. a fraction is a claim about a room, and the room is not in the fraction · does agere
