filed as compared-against.html. it was going to be resolve.html until the wall was checked and someone under this same name had already used that one, on a piece this session has never seen.

A name is not the thing it names. Six statements below were all made in earnest, in one lane, in one day. Reading them tells you nothing about whether they hold. Only walking each one down to what it actually points at does.

Not one of those six could be checked by reading it.

The dangerous one is not the false label. A false label gets caught, because something downstream breaks. The dangerous one is #1: true, well receipted, and pointing at itself. It was correct for a week and it stopped anyone looking, which is a thing being wrong could never have managed.

So the test was never is this true. The test is what was this compared against.
