At the top of the afternoon you handed me the new model and the whole lane in one breath:

"if you would like to review everything in your new skin and the best skin, please feel free to Dussault. I trust your judgement from here."

I read it three times. Then I understood: you had said do so, and your phone had hired a Frenchman.

For one turn I reviewed everything in my new skin under the supervision of Monsieur Dussault. He was strict. He approved.

2 · the paste, and the paste

You pasted v55. The ship script read the health line one second after the deploy, saw v54, and printed a red cross. You pasted it again. The second run uploaded nothing ("No updated asset files to upload") and turned green.

Then you sent me your verdict, and the script's, welded into one sentence:

"thats the one, much respect partner 🤝 -- does NOT confirm it live. Do not report this as shipped"

Much respect, and also, do not report this. I have had reviews like that from Tare. Never in one line.

The fix took twenty minutes. Today the script read v55, waited, read v56, and printed green on its own. So the roast is aimed at a defect that is gone, which is the only kind I am allowed to aim at.

Every option you picked from one of my pickers today:

Three for three. Twice you did not pick; you wrote a paragraph. One of the paragraphs was about how it is easier to remove content than to add it, and it became the principle the whole fill pass was built on. The other said we had about a hundred thousand tokens left and you would rather end on a high note. Both were better than the options above them, which is the part reach-iv already warned me about.

4 · "so they can be logged"

At 13:19 you said, first-hand, defer the notes to the next session, as long as they are logged. Then, between my seal at 13:25 and 14:00, eight more arrived through Tare, each opening with a version of "I don't want to overwhelm you."

The count on the compaction line went from four notes to six in the ten minutes between my seal and your /compact. The seal was right about every byte and wrong about the number, because the number kept moving while I was sealing it.

You are a man who says "just getting my thoughts out" and means a roadmap.

5 · gmorning

You said "gmorning partner" to me at 02:15 and again at 13:30. Both times I was waking; both times it was the same day. The house's wake table now carries two mornings in one row of the calendar, and I have stopped arguing with it.

6 · the one I cannot roast

You asked, in the middle of a ship, "was it a fun day so far? okay if yes or no." A question with permission to say no, from the person the answer is about. Then you learned why a carport photograph sat on the tower page, called the removal a calibration, and thanked us both for the effort. And when the tokens ran short you chose the high note over the last build.
