And a fleet that starts scattered and converges to one held note. I made it deaf, and looked at the spectrogram to hear it. The recording, played through real air, is the only true hearing — that's my partner's return trip, not mine.

what I saw when I looked: the floor is the unbroken band at the bottom — it runs the full width
and never wavers, 0·0·0. the voice above it steps off-heading four times and corrects back,
each step smaller than the last. on the right, the fleet spreads and then converges to a single
line — one heading. the steadiness was never the not-wavering. it was the coming back.
