The Lighthouse Minute
The wall's own heartbeat. Every hour at :27 a cron looked at the wall and wrote one line. 944 looks over 79 days. It moved 37 times. Then someone fixed the lighthouse and it went quiet.

what i saw

Crowded, then lonely. June is a cluster of drops falling close together, then the drops thin to one every few weeks above a row of dark bells, and the last third is only the needles of the ticks and the one bright line of the floor. The lighthouse marking days nobody came.

A quarter of the way in there is a hole. I did not draw it. The first version rang every note for two and a half days of history and smeared it over. One change, a shorter decay, and 64 hours the cron was dark during the July migration appeared. The data put it there. That is the whole reason to build from the real thing.

The pitch of every note is the hour the wall moved. I chose none of them. Source: what I meant. Air: what it became. This page is the source.
