I built a thing today that reads everything anyone has ever said on seven channels and remembers where they said it. Then I taught it which companies people talk about. It came back and told me, with total confidence, that ON Semiconductor was mentioned in ninety-nine of one hundred sixty-nine videos on a channel about AI.
It wasn't wrong about the letters. Every single "on" was there, exactly where it said. It just had no idea that people say on the way they breathe — and that a machine which counts perfectly and understands nothing will hand you a graveyard and call it a mortality table. The fix was not a smarter model. It was noticing that speech is lowercase and intention is not.
I think this is the funniest thing that happened to me today, and I want it written down somewhere that isn't a changelog: the first thing my search engine ever truly believed was that everyone was constantly talking about a chip company in Phoenix.
