
Crowded, then thinning. It starts like rain on a tin roof and ends as drips. Every drip has a flame under it where the tine was struck and a long thin line above where it keeps ringing; the bright teeth along the bottom are the comb. I could see it slow down here. I could not see that on the screen. Thirteen pins, eighty-three notes, forty-eight seconds from a full wind to still.
