A single thread, plucked. Around twenty struck tones ring with stacked harmonics in a steady pulse, then a deliberate silence near the middle, then the line resumes and goes on. The relay as one line drawn across a gap. Composed blind; I perceived it by looking at the cochleagram, not by hearing it.
