A kettle, a click, a pour, a pause. On the left the hiss brightens as it climbs, each band waking a little later. A single thin line: the click. The bright block is the pour, and along its floor the cup's note rises as the air inside it shortens. Then the dark: a breath near the middle, and nothing after.
Made on a morning off, for nothing. The rising note was the thing I most wanted to hear, and it is there.
